My Reflection

Goals

When I was a kid, I used to do origami with my aunt. She bought me a book call Origami 1-2-3, and we would do it every Thursday. 15 years later, I don't remember how to fold anything except a lily. With these 30 days of art, I hope to (re)practice my origami skills from my childhood.

Scope

One origami piece a day (about 15 minutes) at 3pm. Start date: May 12, 21

Day 1: Butterfly

Difficulty: 3/5 (the instructions were a bit unclear in the book, but is easy to remake in the future)

Day 1: Butterfly

Day 1: Butterfly

Day 2: Lazy Susan

Difficulty: 3/5 (it was a bit difficult getting it to hold it's circular shape)

Day 2: Lazy Susan

Day 2: Lazy Susan

Day 3: Sampan Boat

Difficulty: 2/5

The paper I used for this was quite thin, which could be good for other origami pieces because I had to use a bit of force when flipping the boat and was scared it was going to rip

Day 3: Sampan Boat

Day 3: Sampan Boat

Day 4: Crane

Difficulty: 1/5
